Dr. Robert Von McGee brings more than 24 years of private practice experience as a pulmonologist and firsthand rental property ownership experience to Altiora Commercial Real Estate. His approach to real estate reflects the principles that have guided his medical career: careful evaluation, clear communication, accountability, and a long-term commitment to the people he serves.

After building and managing a portfolio of single-family rental homes, Dr. McGee sold those properties to concentrate on commercial real estate, with a focus on multifamily apartments. His experience as a landlord gave him a practical understanding of property operations, tenant relationships, maintenance demands, and the importance of disciplined investment decisions.

In 2017, he obtained his real estate license to deepen his knowledge of the industry. He later voluntarily placed that license on inactive status, having pursued licensure for education rather than a career representing buyers and sellers.

Today, through Altiora Commercial Real Estate, Dr. McGee is pursuing apartment acquisitions primarily in the Jackson, Mississippi, metropolitan area, while remaining open to opportunities throughout Mississippi that meet the company’s investment criteria. His focus is on established Class B and Class C communities with sound operating fundamentals and opportunities for lasting improvement.

Dr. McGee welcomes relationships with commercial brokers, agents, apartment owners, and property managers. He values straightforward conversations, thoughtful property evaluation, and professional follow-through—whether an owner is ready to sell or simply exploring a future transition.
